A home invasion suspect is in the hospital after being shot by a homeowner.
Officers responded to a home near Aspen and PIttsburg Place said a man forced his way into the home, but the homeowner shot him in the leg.
When police got there, they detained three people who were seen walking into the front yard of the home. The suspect who’d been shot was in the homeowner’s bedroom, bleeding “profusely” on the floor from a gunshot to his leg, according to police.
